Wait, but if you set practice mode to "Defense" and make them do unsafe moves, you will land a WGF regardless of whether you actually did punish in time because they don't block in this mode. What you need is the dedicated punishment training thing where you can be certain that you landed a correct punish

I was really hoping when I saw the title that this was going to be her b 1+3 parry into a special style cancel for the heaven's wrath into an electric, which would have been amazing. This is so hard to do, most of the time I get the punch parry I don't even mean to, so doubtful I will enable special style to try this, especially since it will probably get removed like all the rest of Reina's unintended interactions anyway lol.

Ok, I've been asking this around but I still haven't found out. Why is it that after this parry and ss cancel out of raijin step, how does uf1 (i13 move) connect when no other i13 moves do? I was so excited to see if anyone could parry into pewgf but it just doesn't seem to work

im a useless noob relatively speaking so i had to develop certain defense mechanism to survive, just like any other rat or small mamaml haha so i kind of got super , HYPER good when doing rage arts in tekken 7 always at the perfect time. now in tekken 8 given its nature i cannot use it as much but still , super effective at pulling rage at the exact frame. with reina im starting to develop without any labbing the parry. i know if i start labbing this i will mess it up. i dont know what my brains does but it works. i guess is because i have no other way of dealing with some stuff at specific moments i can focus a lot of a attention in a short span of time and magic things happen :D

Why does this only work for special style? Is it because it lets you buffer the entire electric as a single input, whereas a normal EWGF is several? It's funny because this honestly looks harder than PEWGF, but I assume the latter doesn't work in this situation (I wouldn't know - I can't do PEWGFs, lol).

FighterZ has tech like this where weaving part of an auto combo into normal ones is optimal and never got nerfed

UPDATE: This tech is not exclusive to Reina. It can work in other situations for other characters aswell. Anyways, I've given up on improving the camera's quality, don't know what to do anymore. Sorry for the blurry image. lol
